The Grande Prairie Pride Society launched its Friends of Pride initiative in 2020 to showcase businesses in the Peace Country who are committed to supporting the LGBTQ+ community. In exchange for supporting Pride efforts year-round, including partnerships with local agencies, members receive early access to ticketed Pride events, Pride merchandise, a Friends of Pride decal/logo for business use, and recognition on the Pride website.
