Join us at the Grande Prairie Live Theatre with a special screening of the cult classic Rocky Horror Picture Show. We recognize with heaviness in our hearts that this screening follows the recent passing of Tim Curry (Dr Frank-N-Furter). Tim Curry was an icon and ally to the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. We hope that this event will bring those together to celebrate the his life and legacy.
This screening will also act as a fundraiser for Grande Prairie Pride Society. We will have an additional silent auction and a 50/50 raffle to raise funds for our organization and the events we hold.
As many as aware, funding for 2SLGBTQIA+ organizations have been impacted in recent years. This includes government funding options no longer being available, not being approved, or lessening as well as community funders such as businesses and individual donors reducing involvement in sponsorship. As we look forward to the future we see a need to be more active in our fundraising activities rather than rely on sponsors and donors. We truly hope to see our community come together and support the mission of Grande Prairie Pride Society and enjoy a queer cult classic film!

Guests are encouraged to dress up and participate in the interactive elements provided at the 7pm and 10pm screenings. The Sensory Friendly screening is recommended for those new to the film and/or prefer a calm movie watching experience.
Props will be supplied on site for the Interactive Callout screenings.
