Volunteers are the heart of the Grande Prairie Pride Society. By giving your time and skills, you contribute to creating safe and inclusive spaces for the 2SLGBTQIA+ community and allies. Whether you’re helping at events, supporting behind the scenes, or bringing fresh ideas to the table, your efforts make a lasting impact on our community.
We offer a variety of ways to get involved, from one-time event support to ongoing volunteer roles. Here are just a few of the opportunities available:
Help us organize and run Pride celebrations, fundraisers, and other community events.
Assist in spreading awareness about our initiatives through campaigns and partnerships.
Lend your organizational skills to support behind-the-scenes planning.
Apply to become a board member. Please note our annual general meeting takes place in December each year.

Our Mandate: The Grande Prairie Pride Society is Grande Prairie’s primary source for 2SLGBTQIA+ activities and events. We are volunteer-run and work year-round to plan and execute Grande Prairie’s Pride, as a way to celebrate our northern community’s diversity.
The Grande Prairie Pride Society aims to create safe and inclusive spaces for self-expression, as well as to promote equality and to celebrate the diversity of our 2SLGBTQIA+ community and its allies.
